Volunteer

There are many ways one can participate to help raise awareness and to take action in order to be part of the solution to ensure wildlife conservation and combat wildlife crimes.

Speak Out for animals is an all-volunteer animal organization that depends on individual animal lovers to care for and help spread the word on protection and preservation of wildlife in Zimbabwe. What is Animal Pal?

Animal pal is a social network platform that has been developed to allow peer education. We embrace diversity and inclusion in our organization and respect other people’s culture and views on animal rights, animal law or animal welfare. Interested participants register by completing a simple form and upon approval they are matched with someone from a different continent that they will connect with using email or other agreed social media platforms. Animal pal breaks ignorance, distance and cultural barriers and allows people from different continents to connect and share stories, ideas and knowledge on improve animal welfare. Animals are the same all over the world and this platform seeks to prove that and make people have a common ground of understanding.

Volunteer

SOFA will take this opportunity to public awareness about its cause, the issues surrounding the need to appreciate, conserve and protect lions, tigers, and cheetahs and highlight the need for community commitment to work solutions to address the cause. The walk-a-thon will target all Zimbabweans and will ensure that participants are educated on the population and characteristics of these Big Cats. More importantly, participants will be educated on the existing laws that protected these species and the need to promote ecotourism and photographic safari. To attract large numbers of people extensive advertising on social media platforms will be used, strategic partnership with media houses such as radio, newspapers and television will be used to market the event.
