Exams Underway


Since the commencement of the highly anticipated Wildlife law module this academic year on June 28, 2021, at Great Zimbabwe Herbert Chitepo Law School the students are expected to start writing exams on the 15th of September 2021.

‘Speak Out For Animals’ busy in Mat’land


ANIMAL protection lobby organisation, Speak Out For Animals has said it is carrying out court interventions for wildlife cases in Matabeleland Matabeleland North and South, a programme meant to combat wildlife crime in the two provinces. In an interview, Speak Out For Animals legal officer Mr Innocent Rupapa said the programme the organisation was carrying out in Matabeleland North and South was in line with the aim of raising awareness about the laws that protect wildlife to various stakeholders.

Case Monitoring : Buluwayo Regional Magistrate Court

We have been hard at work conducting case monitorings on wildlife cases all week long. The objective of these case monitorings is to observe and also assist where need be. Our legal officers have been busy at work in the following respective towns like The city of Kings and Queens Buluwayo “Buluwayo Regional Magistrate Court” were a total of 15 cases where monitored this week and their findings were as follows.
8 Elephant Ivory Cases were presided over with 4 of Which are before Bulawayo RegionaMagistrates Court.
